Serolmetal, Lda., Portuguese Tax ID (NIF) 518157270, registered in Portugal, is the controller of the personal data collected through this website. Contact: geral@serolmetal.pt.
Only the data you give us voluntarily when you contact us by WhatsApp or email — for example, name, company, phone and email in a quote request, or name, contact details and CV in a job application. The server hosting the site also records technical data about visits (see "Server logs").
We use this data exclusively to respond to your quote or information request, manage job applications, and comply with legal and contractual obligations linked to the projects we carry out.
Processing is based on pre-contractual steps taken at your request, the consent given when you contact us, or compliance with legal obligations applicable to our industrial subcontracting activity.
We do not sell or pass on your data to third parties for commercial purposes. It may be shared with clients or competent authorities only where required by law or necessary to perform a contract (for example, documentation for technicians assigned to a project). We use service providers that process data on our behalf: Hostinger (website hosting and company email), Google (job-application email) and WhatsApp/Meta (when you contact us that way).
We keep data for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for and, where applicable, for the legal retention periods for contractual and tax documentation.
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or request the portability of your data, and to object to its processing. The hosting server (Hostinger) automatically records technical data for each visit — IP address, date and time, page requested and browser type — to keep the site secure and working. We do not use this data to identify visitors or for commercial purposes.
